Sources needed for the New Town section

The main source provided doesn't seem to support large parts of this section; also, "The new town spans the two cities but was still named Linkou" adds some additional uncertainty because of the verb tense inconsistency, making it unlear whether this was only true during the establishment of the new town or is still true now. Certainly, "Linkou" is used in an official government capacity to describe a district of New Taipei City, not as a multi-city area. Perhaps this could necessitate a subsection to differentiate between two ways of looking at/discussing Linkou, or make the "New Town" part of a History section.
